1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4
s/n 14809
Red with Black Interior
When introduced, the 365 GTC/4 was Ferrari`s absolute top of the line executive model. With a comfortable, relaxed seating position, functional air conditioning, and power steering, the 365 GTC/4 achieves a pleasant balance between a thoroughbred sports car and a luxury grand touring car, and is considerably less exhausting to drive than the 365 GTB/4 `Daytona` produced during the same period. The 365 GTC/4 is by far the most sought after of the luxury touring models of the era, and has enjoyed considerable appreciation over recent years.
This example has received much recent attention to ensure it is ready for long distance touring. The mechanicals and cosmetics were redone in 1996 and very few miles have been put on the car since. The car has been repainted with good medium-to-dark red paint with good black leather and black carpets. The dash is generally excellent, although not mouse-fur. Very nice chrome trim and rubber bumper fit. No major cosmetic flaws, in or out. Equipped with user friendly power steering. The transmission was recently gone through and has excellent syncros, both warm and cold. Less than 1,000 miles ago the engine was removed and rebuilt by Dino Motors in San Mateo, California. While the engine was out the engine bay was detailed. The example sits on beautifully polished Borrani wire wheels with good Goodyear Eagle tires, and comes with a second set of Cromodora wheels. Complete with correct original owner's manual, a reprinted workshop manual, mechanical receipts and jack roll. The total mileage on this chassis is 83k miles, although the motor and transmission have just been broken in.

2006 04 Apr. Cos called. He has owned this car since 1974. Used to drive it to Monterey every year, but hardly ever uses the car today. He had the engine rebuilt by Filippo's Gran Turismo in 1996, but only 4,000 miles ago. Had the car stripped and repainted in red by Classic Endeavors in the same time period. He thinks he has every piece of paper going back to 1974. He has both Borrani wire wheels and mags. Has the owner's manual, the parts book, but no tools. Now has 82k miles.
